Assistance For Bipolar Brother's Animal Rescue

Hello, my name is Steve Knudson. I am raising funds for my brother, Joe Knudson, to assist in the purchase of land for the permanent location of Oscar's Animal Rescue & Facilitation. The Rescue takes in stray & neglected animals, including those with special needs, and rehomes them to a safe and loving environment. They also school suitable rescues as Emotional Support Dogs & provide them free of charge to individuals battling anxiety/depression. Currently, the Rescue is operating in a temporary location, but due to certain city ordinances & restrictive covenants in place, they must relocate to a more suitable location so that operations may continue.

This fundraiser is important to me because my brother has battled mental health illness for decades & finds operating the facility & working with the animals, as well as providing the Emotional Support Dogs, provide the therapeutic relief he needs, along with his prescribed medication, to survive his mental health illness & live at least a partial functioning life.

The Rescue is named after Oscar, my brother's own Emotional Support Dog, without him & the other animals he works with at the Rescue, his life would be much more difficult to sustain.
